After spending a decade as a registered nurse in intensive care, critical care, and emergency medicine, Mary got a call. She was offered an opportunity to review potential cases involving care deficits on behalf of plaintiffs. Although initially reluctant to participate in claims against healthcare providers, Mary was equally passionate about helping those in need, so she decided to give it a try.
Mary has now been a legal nurse consultant for over 30 years. During that time, she has been an invaluable resource in pursuing meritorious claims against various healthcare providers, most recently specializing in evaluating claims against nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities. Mary now plays an integral role in helping us evaluate those claims, applying expertise, objectivity, and the same methodology to each potential case: listen to the client, investigate the facts, research and understand the medicine, and fairly assess the circumstances of all parties involved.
We’re fortunate to have her as part of the team.
Outside Interests
When she’s not working, Mary enjoys bicycling, hiking, and most of all, her grandchildren. She continues to volunteer providing end-of-life companionship to hospice patients and their families.
